Course Overview
The Tank Integrity and Compliance Training course provides a practical introduction to assessing the condition, safety and compliance of aboveground storage tanks. Designed for operators, asset owners, engineers and maintenance personnel, this one-day program covers the full process of planning, conducting and documenting a tank integrity assessment.
Participants learn how to identify common tank defects, understand failure modes, and apply industry standards such as API 653. The course also outlines inspection intervals, fitness-for-service considerations, and key responsibilities under Western Australian safety regulations.
Through a combination of technical guidance and real-world examples, attendees gain the knowledge needed to evaluate tank condition, plan maintenance actions and ensure tanks remain safe and compliant throughout their lifecycle. Onsite group training is also available for organisations wanting tailored delivery at their own facility.
