Inspection Types
- Annual & periodic inspections delivered by competent inspectors.
- Major crane inspections (10 year and 25 Year) to determine suitability for continued safe operation in accordance with AS2550.1 2011. This includes compilation of Design Working Period Calculations by qualified & experienced engineers.
- All information recorded during inspections is stored on AME’s Online Asset Inspection System. Our clients are provided with access to this database so they can acquire information on their asset portfolio wherever and whenever they want.
Audits
- AME conduct tailored audits to identify gaps, assess compliance and develop management system improvements for your crane, hoist and lifting equipment portfolio.
- Audits can be desktop based or conducted on site by experienced crane & hoist inspectors / auditors.
- AME will work with you to address any gaps identified during an audit and to develop and embed plant management system improvements to ensure your crane, hoist and lifting equipment portfolio remains compliant with the relevant WHS Regulations, Australian Standards and industry best practice.
Non-Destructive Testing

AME Crane, Hoist and Lifting Equipment Training Courses
AME delivers three courses which are relevant to the management and compliance of your crane, hoist and lifting equipment portfolio. These courses were developed through our extensive experience in the Australian mining, infrastructure and energy sectors. Our training is based on our extensive knowledge of the Work Health and Safety Act 2020 and the Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations 2022.
