In accordance with the new Work Health and Safety Act 2020 and the Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations 2022 which came into effect on 31 March 2022, all Registrable Plant must be registered with the Department of Mines and Petroleum (DMP) Resources Safety Division.

With a team of highly qualified and experienced personnel, AME has an intimate knowledge of the applicable Mining, Occupational Health and Safety Regulations and Australian Standards. AME provide a full service from registration to the management of Registerable Plant (formerly known as Classified Plant), setting up Registerable Plant Equipment Files, Statutory and Itinerant Record Books as well as Statutory and Duty of Care Registerable Plant Inspections.

Since inception, we have been managing and inspecting Registerable Plant for Newcrest Mining’s Telfer Operations and Underground Mining Contractor, Byrnecut Mining (BCM), and have been involved with developing Registerable Plant Procedures for many clients including; Fortescue Metals Group (FMG), Rio Tinto (RTIO), BHP Billiton (BHPBIO) and Citic Pacific Mining (CPM).
