In accordance with the Western Australian Mines Safety and Inspection Regulations (MSIR 1995), all registrable Classified Plant must be registered with the Department of Mines and Petroleum (DMP) Resources Safety Division.

With a team of highly qualified and experienced personnel, AME has an intimate knowledge of the applicable Mining, Occupational Health and Safety Regulations and Australian Standards. AME provide a full service from registration to the management of Classified Plant, setting up Classified Plant Equipment Files, Statutory and Itinerant Record Books as well as Statutory and Duty of Care Classified Plant Inspections.

Since inception, we have been managing and inspecting Classified Plant for Newcrest Mining’s Telfer Operations and Underground Mining Contractor, Byrnecut Mining (BCM), and have been involved with developing Classified Plant Procedures for many clients including; Fortescue Metals Group (FMG), Rio Tinto (RTIO), BHP Billiton (BHPBIO) and Citic Pacific Mining (CPM).
