The Tank Integrity & Compliance Training course is designed for personnel involved in the inspection, operation and management of aboveground storage tanks. This one-day program provides a practical introduction to API 653 requirements and the core principles used to assess tank condition, suitability for service and inspection needs.

Each training session includes a course manual, morning tea and a light lunch. Sessions are held at our Burswood training facility, and onsite training for larger groups can be arranged on request.

The curriculum covers:

• Key API 653 terms, roles and inspection responsibilities
• Incident awareness and risk considerations identified during tank inspections
• Determining Suitability for Service
• Types of inspections and required intervals (external, internal, in-service)
• Overview of common NDT methods used for tank assessments
• Recognising damage mechanisms that may lead to failure
• Inspection checklists, reporting requirements and documentation standards
• Tank markings, identification and nameplate requirements
