The Section 44 (Mine Safety) training course covers the Health and Safety Legislative Framework, as well as appointments and responsibilities under Section 44 of the Mines Safety Inspection Act 1994 (WA).

Section 44 training is an awareness course for those working in the West Australian resources industry, which arms appointed persons with the necessary legislative knowledge to perform their role safely.

Upon completion, participants will have an understanding of the legal obligations of mine managers, and persons appointed by them, on mine sites.
