Accountabilities
- Perform Inspections and Testing on high risk mobile and fixed plant
- Produce quality reports capturing your Inspections and Testing findings
- Use specialist inspection and test equipment in the performance of inspections
- Use knowledge and skills, from qualifications and experience, to assess compliance of Plant and Machinery in accordance with relevant WA legislation and Standards
- Provide technical support and advice related to high-risk plant compliance matters
Essential Criteria
Applicants must possess the following skills and attributes:
- Trade qualified heavy duty diesel fitter or extensive crane technician experience
- Experience in fitting & maintaining pressure vessels associated with heavy duty plant
- An understanding of applicable Australian Standards, Work Health Safety Act 2020, Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations 2022, Work Health and Safety (General) Regulations 2022
- An effective communicator, both in written and verbal communications
- Competent with Microsoft Office suite and comfortable learning new digital software platforms
- An effective time manager and committed to achieving deadlines
- Must have unrestricted right to work in Australia
- Current driving licence
